Jivkar Seed Company has made substantial contribution to the Agricultural sector in the country through the development, production and provision of Top quality seed varieties for all zones in terms of yields, disease and drought tolerance amongst other attributes.

         As seed is an important agricultural input with a great capacity to increase productivity and enhance food security. The company’s main mandate is to produce and distribute this critical input. To achieve this mandate, the company has expanded its range of products over the years to include seed of more than 50 different varieties of crops ranging from Cereals, Oilseeds, Pulses, Gum Guar, Forage, Spices and Medicinal and Vegetables. It is gratifying therefore to observe that the increased adoption of this superior and wide range of seed varieties by farmers has enabled the country to produce sufficient quantities of food even at the most dryer parts of the country.
